What can you and your child expect?

Your children will be taught in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. In my setting, the 4 key areas I am working with your children on are:

  • A unique child: Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured.

  • Positive Relationships: Children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships.

  • Enabling Environments: Children learn and develop well in enabling environments in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practioners and parents and carers.

  • Learning and Development: Children develop and learn in different ways. The framework covers the education and care of all children in early years provision, including children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Activities:

Your child will take part in a range of activities; the following list is not exhaustive: Drawing, painting, baking, story time, dress up, role play, messy play (sand, water, play dough), outdoor play, play gyms, visits and trips, reading and nursery rhymes.

Food and Drink:

I believe in healthy eating and provide nutritionally balanced meals for all children in my care. I aim to cater for all dietary requirements and special needs. A sample menu can be emailed to you on request. Water is fully available and accessible to your child throughout the day.
